This was one of the first in a series of real-time improvisations I made with my SuperCollider / KMI Softstep2 / Raspberry PI3 that felt composed. I was still in the process of developing my newly formed "processed guitar" vocabulary in creative ways. A lot of what was on the "For In-Between Times" LP were experiments. In this recording, while I wanted to still have a form of exploration, I felt a bit more patient, restrained, and confident to let there be silence, smaller ideas, etc. - and then contrast them with larger sound densities made possible by more programming and sequencing of effects in real-time.
